Sports.<\/p>\n<p>There was no structural damage found in an MRI administered on Monday, but the severity of the sprain pushed back the original belief on Sundaynight that Paul could return within one to two weeks.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s just really sore right now,\u201d a source said.<\/p>\n<p>Nevertheless, Paul is hopeful that aggressive treatment and sheer determination can speed up the timetable and get him back to the Hornets as quickly as possible. The Clippers are 1-2, and must now turn to  point guard Eric Bledsoe. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cEven with the bad situation, his attitude is not \u201cWhy bother?\u201d one source said. \u201cIt\u2019s his team and he knows that. He doesn\u2019t want to let anyone down. He\u2019s determined to get back as fast as he can.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Paul injured the ankle when he appeared to land on  center Deandre Jordan during a scrimmage in practice. After clutching his ankle in pain, Paul was eventually helped off the court and to the locker room by his teammates.<\/p>\n<p>Paul\u2019s injury was the latest setback for the Hornets, who fired Byron Scott as coach on Thursday and replaced him with general manager Jeff Bower.
