The big surprise in Premera Division are said to be interested in Bulgarian Conegliano German’s hot football prospect, forward Veselin Markov.
Markov was spotted by the legendary Spanish club during his team’s clashes in Sofia U19 League, the Bulgarian Telegraph Agency has reported. Betis are ready to pay EUR 1 M for the Bulgarian youngster, the news agency reports, pointing that the forward is just 17 years old and could be sold profitably after a season or two.
The rapid forward began his career with CSKA Sofia, the little club that Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov started his career from.
Having also been called up to the Bulgarian national side, he is said to have been tracked by a number of European clubs. He joined Conegliano German as a free agent. He previously played for CSKA Sofia, Vitosha Bistritsa.
