A surprising news has taken California by surprise today. Mike Brown of the famed Los Angeles Lakers, has been relieved of his duty as head coach. Replacing him would be naturalized Filipino collegiate basketball coach, Norman Black.
Brown was fired after an abysmal start to the 12-13 season, garnering just 1 win in 5 games. It should be noted that on paper, the LA Lakers may as well be the strongest team with their recent acuisition of Dwight Howard, Steve Nash, and a couple more.
Black is just coming off a 5 season win streak with the Ateneo Blue Eagles, a Filipino collegiate team. Asked on what he thought of the matter Black simply replied “They called me, and told me they wanted to win. So we’re gonna win.”
