As was reported early yesterday morning by Bill Simmons, there was word from the San Antonio locker room that one of his teammates “laughed” at one of Duncan’s jokes. This is a career high of 1 teammate for the 13 year veteran, when asked to comment said “I’ve been waiting for this day my whole life. My father would beat me until I cried saying ‘YOU’LL NEVER MAKE SOMEONE LAUGH!!!! NOW GO SWIM YOU CROOKED-NOSED BASTARD’, this is the greatest experience I ever had, even better than my championships. I didn’t even realize I made a joke”
When trying to find out what he said, teammate Tony Parker commented “After practice a couple days ago, Timmy came up to me, slapped me on the ass, winked at me and said ‘touch it Tony”. I thought he was making a joke”.
